 Site Help
FlisKits' web site prides itself on ease of
navigation and attractive, fast loading pages. As a result, you will see few scripts
used and no FLASH animation. The only scripting currently used on this site, beyond
standard html code, is the use of a simple JAVA-Script (not JAVA) that creates a roll-over
effect when you pass your mouse over a graphic button.
Our web site incorporates a standard layout
including a top header, left navigation (navigation buttons in the left margin), bottom
footer, with the body of the page in the center of the page.
Our site is designed to fit on a 800 pixel wide
window, but will provide a scroll bar if needed. This site is NOT optimized to any
particular browser, so any current rev browser that supports frames should function just
fine.
The sites main page follows this format, but is
not framed. All subsequent pages lead to a 3 frame frame-set with a header frame,
content frame and main frame. Frames were chosen for this site to provide a faster
reacting site and one that is more easily maintained (as this site is hard coded and not
generated)
This site is broken up into 4 main categories:
The categories should be self explanatory.
Each category is further broken into sub-categories, allowing you to reach all of
the content on FlisKits, from the main page, in 4 clicks or less (3 clicks or less from
any main category page).
No search engine is currently provided, as it is
not felt to be necessary at this time.
