Congratulations to Daren for his fantastic design and the excitement of being the first ever to win the FlisKits Design of the Year award!

FlisKits has been in touch with Daren and are in the process of working out all of the details that such an event entails.  To be honest, the year flew by very quickly and we suddenly found ourselves with a DOY winner!   It caught us by surprize as we are sure it also caught Daren.

At this time, all the information that we can provide is that this design will be going into full production sometime in the March/April timeframe.  A big announcement will be made when the design is ready for customers.   In addition to this small honor, Daren will be receiving two of his kit, professionally manufactured so that he can show everyone what he has accomplished!

In addition to this, Daren will be receiving a certificate describing his accomplishment and other gifts and prizes yet to be defined (don't worry, we'll let you all know!)

Watch this page and our main page for further announcements and information about this exciting event!  We at FlisKits are thrilled to be able to play a part in bringing the fun back into model rocketry.  The many people who have contributed their wonderful designs are to be commended for their hard work (even though we all know it was a BOAT LOAD of fun!).
