| TARC March 05 |
![]() A young team with one of the coolest TARC entries I've ever seen! LARGE payload section tappered down to a BT-50 with TINY fins on both stages (yep, 2-stage). Turned in flawless flights with times within seconds of the 60-second mark. |
![]() Another pose with the 3rd team member. |
![]() There were as many as 6 entries at this launch. Some testing their designs, some going for qualification flights. |
![]() One large group with two TARC entries. |
![]() And not all TARC. This FlisKits fan displays his Triskelion with a naked body and marker colored fins with great markings! |
![]() And a beautifully camo-finished Freedom Forge Missile! |
![]() Another TARC entry that was big-n-beefy and cool as all git'out. |
![]() The Freedom Forge Missile on the pad (misfire though) |
![]() A very small TARC entry that provided BIG performance! |
![]() Liftoff! This was another entry that came very near the mark of 60 seconds. |
![]() The tail of the Freedom Forge Missile leaves the camera frame. |
![]() LIFTOFF of that cool TARC entry. In this picture you can clearly see how small the fins are. Also, the lower stage is minimum length meaning that those upper fins are up high even on the sustainer. Flew perfectly every time. |
![]() Liftoff of another TARC entry! |
![]() Great deployment too! I am not sure if this was one of them, but we had several TARC models kick their motors upon stage separation. Need to fix that to avoide a DQ |
![]() Another TARC entry *just* captured on cam. |
![]() Preparing for another launch |
![]() Jim Salem clears the pad on his F powered upscale Mosquito. Beautiful flight and short field recovery (though I missed the launch pix) |
