NERRF 2005 - Middletown, New York

My first NERRF (North East Regional Rocketry
Festival)! Heck, it was EVERYONE's first NERRF for that matter.
High power was the norm for this weekend, but
there were still plenty of low and mid power model rocketry as well. Kathy and I
arrived Friday morning and set up our booth for the 3 day event. It was wonderful
meeting up with many rocketry friends as well as meeting many more. We had a large
contingent from TRF (The Rocketry Forum) as well as from my local club CMASS.

We started each day with the National Anthem
followed by a wonderful breakfast courtisy of the Boy Scouts. What a wonderful way
to start the day!
I will admit, this was the dirtiest launch I
have ever attended, with a recently harvested sod field, we were launching on dirt.
Tilled dirt. Very fertile dirt. But it was wonderful, still and all :)

Saturday I was joined by my family, much of
which still resides in New York (my home state) and at one time we had 12 family members
in our booth, not counting Kathy and I. So this meet doubled as an imprompto family
reunion of sorts.
This photo album is broken into two parts, each
with about 50 images. If you see an image of your rocket, feel free to send me an
email and I will try to get a high resolution version off to you. If you know the
name of the owner, rocket and/or motor used for any of these images, please send me an
email and I will update these albums.
Enjoy the photo album at left. Clicking on
a thumbnail image will bring up a full size (low resolution) version of the image in this
frame. If anyone has photo's that they would like added to this album, please email
them to me with caption, description and the name of the photographer.
