NARCON 2005 - Kenosha, Wisconsin

My second NARCON ever.  What a hoot.   Record numbers, great guests, outstanding sessions and speakers and lots of vendors.  Those of you who could not make it, missed a great weekend.

I will try to add to this as time permits, but needless to say the folks at WOOSH put on a good show (and will do so again next year, so mark your calendars!).

Many of the attending vendors were announcing new products at NARCON and FlisKits was no exception.  We announced 4 new kits in all, the Decaffeinator, Tri-Glide, PayLord and StarLoad.  All of these kits were well received by the attendees and our booth always had some activity going on around it.   Special thanks to Carl Tulanko who brought his upscale Tres and Deuce's Wild! models for us to display at our booth.  They looked great and were big attention getters.

It was fun meeting up with old friends and making new ones.  Many familiar faces and lots of discussion of old times and new adventures.  I had the special privilege of having Vern and Gleda Estes sign two of my (now) most cherished items, and old (1971) catalog and my library collection of Model Rocketeer newsletters.
