This is our booth set up at the National Weather Conference.  It was very well attended and we enjoyed ourselves greatly.  We especially enjoyed the private tour of the observatory.

While smaller, our both at GIS Day 2004 was even busier due to a much larger attendance.

During the course of the day, we were visited by Jay Apt (astronaut and model rocketeer) to give a key-note speach and to do a book signing.  I waited my turn in line to present to him a Deuce's Wild and having him sign one for me.

I also asked if he would sign the cover art of one of our newest kits, the Alien8 and explained that we would then kit this one up and auction it off to raise money for a scholarship program that we are entering into.

Just before leaving, Jay wanted a picture of us with the NAR poster I had displayed next to the NAR literature we were handing out.  It was a wonderfully pleasent experience.

I just caught the tail end of this Tres going off.  If you look closely, only two motors are burning.  During its first flight, only one motor lit and she dropped softly in the infield of the launch area.  During this flight, she arc'ed over and lawn darted way down range.
