CMASS Amesbury Launch, Nov 22nd,
2003
Last launch of the year.
It was a wonderful day out on the field with the folks from CMASS this, their last
day of flying for the 2003 season. And packed to the teeth too! It seems that
the many folks who turned out this day found out about the CMASS launch after watching the
Rocketry Challenge on Discovery and/or after reading an article about CMASS in the local
paper.
In any event, it gave us all a chance to show rocketry off to
new comers to the hobby and onlookers who were just curious. What they saw does
rocketry proud. A very wide array of models from 1/4A all the way up to J class
beasts. A beautiful, nearly windless day with barely a trace of cloud cover.
November temps in the mid-50's and a whole lot of enthusiasm.
It was a great day, pure and simple. We invite you to
check out this short photo album. Thumbnails and captions can be seen on the left.

If we have a picture of you or your rocket in this
collection and would like a full resolution version (these are all low resolution for the
web), please send an email to Jim Flis with the
filename of the image you want and he will get it right out to you.
Thank you for visiting!
