Two young boys proudly display their FarScape (Night Whisper) and Deuce's Wild! kits just before launch

And we have LIFTOFF!  The Decaffeinator turns in a perfect flight on a C11-3.  I didn't dare go with a larger motor with the way the wind was blowing.

Perfect recover too, just a short walk from the field.

Very nice sport scale model that was essentially scratch built using the Launch Pad kit as a guide.

Close up of the burn.  The weather was not good and it was hard to get good pictures, but this is one of them :)

And off she goes!  Boosted with a B6-0 with an A8-5 sustainer, she boosted straight and true with separation at about 100 feet.  The booster separated and tumbled nicely to the ground while the sustainer went to a great altitude.  I had to hike over 1/4 mile to recover this beauty!

Doug poses with my newest design.  No name yet, so I called her "What the heck is that", only so that the LCO would have to call out "What the heck is that, on pad 1!"...

And she flies perfectly on a C6-3 motor!

A snarled parachute resulted in a hard landing causing the hoop to pop off.  This was also due to poor glue joints (i have GOT to make the time for proper construction!)

Here is my Sprint-'73 on her 475th flight.  I had intended to fly her 5-10 times today, but the weather was just TOO wet and I was afraid she'd get ruined.  Perfect flight too.

The last launch I photographed today was a Deuce's Wild! kit.  Against the overcast sky, she produces a beautiful flame!
