Lots of old collectables for sale too!
P1010110.JPG (73796 bytes)
If this table didn't make you drool, you haven't been in rocketry very long!

At the end of the day everyone mills around the raffle table getting a peek at the possibilities!

Day 2 brings us more rocketry!  With our introduction of the NCB-70AD cone, I just HAD to try one myself, so I built up this 167% upscale of the Triskelion that I call the Trisk-D
P1010124.JPG (59589 bytes)
Oh man, this thing is SWEET in the air!  Flown here on a C11-3 (strong winds - I like to fly'em, don't like to chase'em...)
P1010125.JPG (26437 bytes)
Large parachute compartment assures good deployment, though I think I would go with a 24" or 36" chute for this guy next time.
P1010126.JPG (83178 bytes)
Also got to fly my Nike-Deuce (or Smokin' Deuce) that Gordon Angelo (Sandman) gave me at NARAM.
P1010127.JPG (68348 bytes)
Always a good flight and a crowd pleaser!  Thank you Gordon!
P1010128.JPG (61079 bytes)
The HERC-5 is becoming one of my favorite kits too.  This one flew naked as my painted one suffered damage and needs some work.
P1010129.JPG (98482 bytes)
Good flights every time.  You can see Bill Spadafora (our club President) pushing the launch button.
P1010130.JPG (39338 bytes)
I also brought out my proto-type Thumper model for some air time.
P1010131.JPG (66275 bytes)
This was supposed to be  a launch picture, but there was a delay in the igniter, but not my shutter button...  Great conversion of a small drink bottle with a wonderful shape.  Featherweight recovery made for quick and easy prep.
P1010132.JPG (64260 bytes)
The Thumper nails a perfect flight on a C11-3
P1010133.JPG (81078 bytes)
Also got to fly my Intruder design on a B6-4.  The Micro Interloper was derived from this design which we hope to have out in 2008.
P1010134.JPG (92720 bytes)
MIke's son (I can *not* recall his name!) poses with his wonderfully finished Thing-a-ma-Jig, flight card in hand!
P1010136.JPG (50391 bytes)
Picture perfect flight!
P1010137.JPG (83653 bytes)
A U.S.S. Grissom is readied on the pad (I can't recall the name of the owner - HELP!)
P1010139.JPG (50400 bytes)
Beautiful boost, but the 'chute didn't deploy resulting in a lawn-dart.  No problem though, only damage was 2 solar panels popping off!
P1010138.JPG (40088 bytes)
My mind is going!  I can't recall any information about this rocket other than that it was gold... LOL
P1010140.JPG (64070 bytes)
One of the rare public displays of my Luna Loader design slated for a 2008 release
P1010142.JPG (46748 bytes)
An intricate model looking like nothing else on the field
P1010143.JPG (90326 bytes)
I missed the launch picture, but here we can see our LCO, Bob Kretch keeping an eye on her
P1010147.JPG (83360 bytes)
Perfect recovery on the soft grass
P1010145.JPG (85637 bytes)
Here, Greg Faith preps his Port-a-Pot Shot for flight
P1010148.JPG (65845 bytes)
Looks good, eh?  Well, that's as high as it got.  It seemed to get hung up on the pad and was, for want of a better word, a crappy flight... LOL
P1010149.JPG (48037 bytes)
The first of 2 Preator kits to fly this day.  My hands down favorite kit!
P1010150.JPG (79913 bytes)
Second attempt with the Port-a-Pot Shot was a much better flight.
P1010151.JPG (57743 bytes)
Here is a nice shot of my Preator-II flying on a B6-0/B6-4 combination.  This Praetor booster accessory should be ready this winter, to the delight of all Praetor owners!
P1010152.JPG (64528 bytes)
I didn't see this flight, but I heard about it...  When he walked by with the wreckage, my first thought was "OH! An upscale Wacky-Wiggler!" LOL
P1010153.JPG (49447 bytes)
Boris Katan with his 8X D motor cluster!
P1010154.JPG (31199 bytes)
Picture perfect, start to finish.
