p1010174.jpg (36071 bytes)
Almost looks like "too much rocket" for such a young boy!  But the Decaffeinator is a perfect kid rocket and these kids proved it!

Triskelion away!
p1010176.jpg (28285 bytes)

p1010177.jpg (71703 bytes)
Not-so-beautiful landing...
p1010179.jpg (73307 bytes)
Perfect lawn-dart with core sample.  You can see here that the nose cone and parachute came out.  I have NO idea why it didn't open...  the only damage was 3 loose fin joints.  Fixed up in about 5 min and ready to fly again!  Tough little bird, beleive it or not.
p1010178.jpg (25069 bytes)

p1010207.jpg (26677 bytes)
Perfect flight for the Frick-n-Frack even in a stiff breeze (check out the smoke trail...).  Perfect separation and recovery of both stages.  Flying on C6-0/C6-0 on a windy day the booster landed within the launch circle and the sustainer about 30 feet away.  The ultimate small field 2-stage rocket, bar none.  Coming in June!

p1010219.jpg (47530 bytes)
After this launch she commented "That was COOL!" and then said that rocketry just may BE something that she would do on her own afterall...
