![]() The Frick-n-Frack 2-stage flying saucer (coming in June) on a pair of B6-0's. This launch suffered failure of the upper stage to ignite. Neat multi-stage rocket in that even with such a catastrophic failure we had a perfectly safe recovery. Probably the only multi-stage rocket that can make that claim! |
![]() Tony's Long OverDue. This is the model that he loaned me as a show kit for 2006. I get show quality kits and I keep them boxed under lock and key. Tony fly's'em... |
![]() Members of a TARC team ready their test flight |
![]() Here's Tony with his Little Joe II. Beautiful model and a great job on the escape tower! |
![]() TARC AWAY! |
![]() An "ok" flight. Too low on the altitude and only 24 seconds of flight. They need more power. |
![]() Second flight of the Frick-n-Frack, perfect in every way! |
![]() Tony's Little Joe II turns in a perfect flight |
![]() Super long shock cord keeps the escape tower from getting damaged. |
![]() Beautiful paper model converted for flight, this is the Apollo capsule with Launch Escape Tower. |
![]() What looks like a Stratos from Red River Rocketry. Very kewl flight. |
![]() One of many gliders flown this beautiful day! |
![]() First flight of the Decaffeinator on a D12-3. Perfect flight though the poor condition of the fins is starting to show with a wobbly flight. |
![]() Having removed the parachute from my Decaffeinator, this has become the largest Feather-Weight model I have ever seen! LOL |
![]() View of the field from the tree line. Yep, the Decaffeinator drifted all the way to the tree line even without a parachute! |
![]() One of several Rhino rockets to take to the air. |
![]() A nicely finished Trident. Not sure if this was an original Astron Trident or a clone. |
![]() Trademark smoke trails from a Deuce's Wild! |
![]() Beautiful under full chute. |
![]() Tony with another of his creations, though I can not remember the name. |
![]() Trident away! |
![]() Tony's rocket takes to the air! |
![]() Long shock cord made it hard to get the whole thing in frame! |
![]() One of several drag races today, this one with a pair of Thing-a-ma-Jig rockets. |
![]() Another Deuce's Wild! getting readied for flight. |
![]() One of several Espresso rockets to fly today. |
![]() Deuce, Deuce. Twice the fun with one rocket! :) |
![]() Returning to earth |
![]() Can't recall, but I believe that this is another of Tony's |
![]() I was THRILLED with this picture! This is a drag race between two doo-Hickey Micromaxx models. I nailed the picture and these things are HARD to get a picture of! |
![]() Bill Ralston's ill fated 5 motor cluster Fat-Boy (sp?). With a central E motor used to deploy the parachute, its ignition is critical. The central E motor did NOT ignite... |
![]() This family showed up out of the blue with an Alpha model they had built at Scouts but didn't have the chance to launch. They flew it with their one and only A8-3 and were having so much fun they wanted more motors. I gave them a B6-4 and they had a ball. |
![]() Another shot of that Apollo capsule |
![]() Final work on getting the Alpha ready to go. |
![]() And GO she does! She screamed on the B6-4 |
![]() And the kids took off after it! |
![]() Here's a pix of that Apollo capsule launching! |
![]() Though I missed the launch shot, I got a great recovery picture of a Triskelion. |
![]() Another drag race (the yellow rocket on the left has JUST begun to burn!) |
![]() Billy gets his A.C.M.E. Spitfire ready to go |
![]() Last shot of my Decaffeinator for the day. This is flight #29 and still completely stock. In fact the motor tube is showing more wear than the foam cups themselves! |
![]() A beautifully finished Diminutive Deuce. I missed the launch shot but she turned in a picture perfect flight! |
