The Scouts were out in full force today as well having built TamJ's at a recent meeting.

This was an interesting model with fins that resemble the drag-plates used in some air to surface missiles.

I can not for the life of me recall the name of this kit nor the owner. I know I have seen it before and just LOVE it.

Decaffeinator's away! Mine had a D12-3 and Bill's had an E9-4. Great flights and perfect glider deployment on both!

From the thumbnail you'd guess this was a Deuce's Wild!, well you'd be WRONG! It is the "Tin Man", creation of Scott Clement. A cleverly decorated A.C.M.E. Spitfire with a Deuce engine mount! Incredible.
Sometimes the lines got long, but they moved fast.

Perfect boost on the Rose-A-Roc. Perfect apogee deployment and she spun up to the point where you could barely see the blades. A nice soft landing too.

Dave Stout said the flight (which I missed...) was high, straight and perfectly nominal, other than losing both boosters!

Here's another view. No launch pix. I wanted to be able to keep a good eye on this thing! Perfectly straight boost, apogee deployment of the main wing, long flat glide on a perfect trim.
