Showing off a Tri-Glide and a Thing-a-ma-Jig as we prep for launch (no assembly pictures as I kept forgetting my camera!)
The more advanced kids are pretty much left to themselves in getting their models prepped for flight while I concentrate most of my energy on the beginners.
And they learn well, prepping the parachute, installing the igniter and engine into their model, putting them on the pads and attaching the clips. I just watch and photograph!

Getting so late in the year makes it hard to get decent pictures...
Here I have lightened the picture up so that you can see there really IS a rocket in there! Kids too!
Sometimes the intensity is just incredible!

The calm day made for near-field recovery which is always a good thing.

The Tri-Glide kits flew great though we lost many of the gliders!
And it was getting even later in the day making it even harder to get good pictures of launches!
I closed the day with the Decaffeinator carrying the accessory glider. Great flight!
