![]() Bill Ralston preps his Tubes R Wild! on pad #5 |
![]() Trouble brewing... |
![]() Bob's NASA Pegasus upscale on a beautiful boost! |
![]() Pretty coming down too! |
![]() Yep, love a full canopy! |
![]() My UFFO-24 (modified UFFO kit for 24mm) does great on an E9! |
![]() This boy just LOVES his Nomad! His first flight attempt resulted in a CATO C11 motor in the first stage... No damage and he preped and flew it again! |
![]() Tres Bien. John modified his Tres kit to have mid-body motor placement. Turns in a great flight every time! |
![]() Be still, my heart! Here someone has shown up with their own design for a foam cup rocket! |
![]() Quick off the pad, but a bit wobbly as she curved and bent under boost, but stayed together. Upon ejection, you saw the center of the rocket just melt away and separate. You have GOT to use rear-ejection on these beasts! |
![]() DJ returns with his bird after a great flight! |
![]() A very cooland bright 3X24mm custer bird. |
![]() An HPR bird off of the big pads. |
![]() Bob with one of many Deuce's Wild! kits to fly today. |
![]() John inspects the hookup before flight. Always a good thing, but even more-so with a cluster! |
![]() Scott Clement's Witch on a Broom. Great flight too! |
![]() Here's that Nomad on the pad for launch attempt #2 |
![]() Meanwhile, at the HPR pads we have a scale model (not sure which) taking to the air |
![]() Ick. hard landing... |
![]() There she goes! The Nomad on a C11-0/C6-0/A8-5 turns in a perfect flight and all parts are recovered! |
![]() Deuce's Away! |
![]() Tres' Away! A perfect flight for John's bird |
![]() And a perfect, near-field recovery too! |
![]() Scott with one of his wackier designs... :) |
![]() My Decaffeinator on an E9 about 300 ms before the CATO. The rocket is fine, but the motor core is toast. |
![]() Well, here she is blowing her stack! Camman from The Rocketry Forum provided me with this incredible pix of the carnage. Thank you! |
![]() This picture gives you an idea of how many people attended the launch |
![]() Here are SOME of the cars... |
![]() A good shot of the club trailer with onlookers, or rather, UPlookers watching the flight |
![]() Seems to be saying: "What the hell is THAT?" |
![]() ick, more trouble brewing... |
![]() Tony Vincent with a very cool looking bird that I beleive is a scratch built |
![]() A Drake blurs past the camera! |
![]() Bill Ralston's table always sports a goodly number of FlisKits model rocket kits! |
![]() Would you buy a rocket from THESE guys?? LOL Bill, Bob and Billy ham it up for the camera |
![]() My Intergalactic Man of Space ready for another flight! |
![]() Bill and Billy load up a UFFO |
![]() Doug after trapesing through water for his rocket... |
![]() THE original Mini-StarLight kit that I designed for a NEMROC anniversary kit. There are only a few of these left in existance. |
![]() My NEMROC ready for flight |
![]() The Mini-StarLight on a B6-4 |
![]() The NEMROC on a B6-4. These two were my last flights of the day. I tilted both pads properly and BOTH models proceeded to leave the pads in directions of their own choosing, sending them as far away as possible while still remaining on the field. sheesh! |
