CMASS launch, July 2005

A young boy with his unusual scratch built model - THIS
is rocketry!
It's about 2 weeks before NARAM and my hope is to retire my
Sprint'73 model there at 500 flights. In order to do that I have a LOT of flying to
do! So I flew the snot out of this rocket today! 8 flights in all for the day,
bringing me up to flight #495. Whew!
This was a typical and most enjoyable CMASS launch.
Large crowds, many locals and spectators, LOTS of flying and a whole slew of
interesting and exciting models.
I didn't get to fly Dudley here today, but I certainly flew a
lot including many of our soon to be announced Micromaxx models and even a foam creation
or two.
As always, it is wonderful to see so many rocketeers out
flying FlisKits model rocket kits. It's very exciting to hear, throughout the day, "On
pad #3 we have a FlisKits (whatever)!". Yep, very exciting!
