9th Anniversary launch a success!

After 2 delays we were finally able to get in our 9th anniversary launch helping FlisKits celebrate 9 wonderful years of serving the rocketry community.  That year is now in the history books as we move on to bigger and better things!  Thanks to everyone who participated in our celebration and to everyone who has contributed to our success over the years.  Your trust in us is our life blood and we will do our best to live up to your dreams, desires and needs as we bring you MORE of the best that rocketry has to offer!

NINE YEARS!  Seems like we opened our doors yesterday!  Starting out with 12 kits, we've grown to nearly 80 kits and hundreds of parts and accessories over these years.  It is hard to believe, but it is true.

We have a lot of activities going on this month so keep watch!  We're still recovering from our power outage (Hurricane Irene) so we're running a day or two late in getting our announcements out!

Commemorating 9 years of service to the rocketry community, FlisKits presents to you the Journeyman Sounding Rocket Now SHIPPING!

So, let us begin!  As is our way, it is the FlisKits anniversary but WE are the one giving out the gifts.  The only gift that WE want is your continued support and feedback.  This year we are going to have several events going on, with many chances for you to win wonderful prizes!  In all cases, NO PURCHASE is necessary, so everyone has a chance to win!

Here then are the details:

• Month long raffle!
  • For each $10 spent in a purchase from our web site you will earn ONE (1) chance in our end of the month raffle.
  • NO PURCHASE NECESSARY! You can also get ONE (1) FREE CHANCE simply by sending us a Birthday (anniversary) Greeting!
  • All web-based and mail orders received between 12:01 am, September 1st and Mid-Night, September 30th are included. NOTE: Does not include field orders.
  • Drawing will take place no later than 5-October and results posted shortly thereafter.
  • PRIZES! (the good part!):
    • First Prize: $100 worth of FlisKits model rocket products!
    • Second Prize: $50 worth of FlisKits model rocket products!
    • Third Prize: Single digit production number of our newest kit release!

  • We will also have a weekly drawing which will encompass those orders received during that calendar week for other prizes! 
  • This additional drawing will begin the week of 4-Sept with drawings made on the following Sunday each week (contest runs from midnight Sat - Midnight Sat each week

• Photo Contest!
  • Send in your favorite photo of a FlisKits product (limit 10 per person)
  • Photo's will be posted on our web site (photo's may be edited to reduce size)
  • Photo's can be build pictures, static shots, photo-shopped into scenes and/or launch/recovery pictures!  Use your imagination!
  • Photo's will be judged by myself (Jim Flis) along with Brian McCarthy, and my family (Kathy, Joe & Jen)
  • PRIZES: To be determined.
• ANNIVERSARY LAUNCH!
  • Saturday, September 17th, Amesbury, MA (Hosted by CMASS)
  • FlisKits sponsors the launch by covering the field rental so there is no flying fee for this launch (LAUNCH FOR FREE!)
  • Contests/prizes include:
    • 10 free kits (dooDad and Whatchamacallit) via hourly raffle (pick up free raffle ticket at the FlisKits booth)
    • Free kit (yet to be selected) for the person who flies the most FlisKits model rocket kits!
  • CAKE!  Yep, they'll be cake (good one too!)
  • Special launch of the UFFO Rainbow (12 - 85 foot streamers, multi-colored)
