| For 8 short
years FlisKits has been working hard to bring fun and
exciting kits to the rocketry community. It is our
hope and goal to continue this tradition well into the
future. But, before we can do that, we have to sit
back and take stock of what these 8 years have meant to
us and to our supportive customers (more on this
later). However, FIRST we need to get ourselves
(and you) ready for the celebration of the year!
For the entire month of
September, FlisKits invites you save money and earn
chances at winning some wonderful prizes! To get
us started, here is the list of events and activities
that will make the month of September special for us
and, we hope, for you as well:
- Free shipping on all
orders over $20 (See note 1 below)
- Drawing for a free kit
every Friday! (No purchase necessary, see details
below)
- Drawing for a
FlisFleet 2010 at the end of the month! (No purchase
necessary, see details below)
- Photo contest with TWO
prizes:

- Anniversary Launch:
September 18th, Amesbury, MA from 10:00 -
4:00. Prizes, contests, raffles, two new kit
announcements, lots of friends, lots of fun.
NOTE 1: All orders
over $20 will be processed without any shipping
charges. This offer includes our international
customers as well. All orders will be shipped via
USPS 1st Class or Parcel Post (whichever is lower cost)
and international orders will be shipped via 1st Class
International. This offer is NOT extended to
include retailers or distributors.
FlisKits Free
Anniversary Raffle!
Every year we look for
different and fun things to do for our anniversary
celebration and tend to lean towards those events that
seem to work well. The idea of a raffle is one
of them, so we are continuing this fun and exciting
tradition, but with a twist. Here are the rules:
- First, you have to
earn/get chances to win. This is very easy:
- Send a Happy
Birthday greeting to FlisKits for one
free chance! (limit one per person)
- Make a purchase
and receive on chance for every $10 spent!
(Not including shipping)
- NEW: Invite a
new customer (Note 2) to make their
first purchase at FlisKits and you and the new
customer will BOTH get the chances that order
earns!
- Next (this is the
easy part), you wait to see if you win! Here
is how the winners will be selected and what the
prizes are:
- Each Friday, at
or near midnight, a random ticket (chance)
will be selected as the winner for that
drawing.
- PRIZE:
Friday winners will win their choice of
ANY kit on our web site with a (get this) MINIMUM
of $20 value (see Note 3).
- At the end of
the month (September 30th) at midnight, a
final drawing will be randomly selected.
- PRIZE:
A FlisFleet 2010! This
FlisFleet is not yet complete as we have
more kits to release before the end of the
year. Your prize will ship to you in
time for the holidays and will include one
of every kit released in the calendar year
2010. Current list of kits include:

Eye (Coming in September)
- Mystic
(Coming in September)
- Last (this may be
the hard part), you have to select the kit you
want and let us know. Don't forget to read
the notes below as they contain some important
information. Good stuff though!
NOTE 2: A
"new customer" is one who has never placed
an order with FlisKits. If you have purchase
FlisKits products at shows or hobby shops or from
other rocketeers, you are still eligible.
NOTE 3: When you
select your kit prize, if you select a kit that has a
value of less than $20 you are free to select
additional kits until the total price exceeds
$20.00. For example, you could select a Flea
($9.95) and a Long OverDue ($15.95) as your prize.

Contest!
Easy stuff! Send

Win prizes! Here's how:
- Send your pictures
to happy_birthday@fliskits.com and at the end of
the month we will have TWO drawings.
- All entries become
the property of FlisKits, Inc.
- All entries
(pictures) will be posted on our web site for all
to view.
- FlisKits reserves
the right to reject any entries for any reason
(specified or unspecified)
- Subjects considered
to be unflattering to FlisKits, Inc, its product
set or employees/officers will be rejected without
comment.
- At the end of the
month FlisKits will announce TWO winners.
One will be a random drawing (so everyone has a
chance) and one will be judged as the "Best
in Show" using criteria that we haven't
figured out yet... Judging will be done by
the folks at FlisKits and results will be posted
upon the close of the contest.
- PRIZE:
Each of the two winners will receive one each of
our newest kits (Bull's Eye and Mystic).
These kit will be low production number (single
digit) signed kits.
FREE SHIPPING!
- For the entire month
of September, we will be offering free shipping
for all orders, domestic and international, that
have a total value of over $20. This offer
is for web based consumer purchases only (no
retailers).
- All shipments will
be made via the lowest cost method available
(typically USPS 1st class or parcel post).
If you wish, you may upgrade your order to USPS
Priority (2-day) service for our standard prices
as shown on our ORDERS page.
ANNIVERSARY LAUNCH!
As with our past 7
years, FlisKits is proudly sponsoring the September
CMASS launch on September 18th (Saturday) in Amesbury,
MA. No flying fees will apply (fly free).
We will be announcing two new kits and will have give-aways,
contests, demo launches and MORE. Keep watch for
more information about this upcoming
celebration.
Oh, and there'll be
CAKE! Over the years FlisKits has become famous
with our local crowd for the outstanding cakes we
bring to these celebrations and this year will be more
of the same delicious and tempting cake. Come on
down and have a slice!

FlisKits is
proud to announce the Nell and L-13 model rocket
kits that make up the
Robert Goddard Historical Series!

AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE!
These two new kits will be
formerly announced at NARCON 2010 in Worcester, MA but are
available for purchase on our web site TODAY! We expect
to be shipping these new kits next week, possibly as early as
Monday but no later than Wednesday.
Here is your chance to own a
real piece of history. Not only are these some of the
most historically significant rockets in history, this is also
the FIRST TIME they have ever been offered as model
rocket kits! Just click on PRODUCTS and follow
the links to SCALE model as well as SKILL LEVEL 2
(L-13) and SKILL LEVEL 3 (Nell) model rocket kits.

As the proud sponsor of this
years national convention, FlisKits will be announcing
several new kits, the most notable being scale replicas of
Robert Goddard's first liquid fueled rocket, Nell as
well as a scale replica of his famous L13 rocket (as
depicted in Peter Alway's Rockets of the World).
Further, FlisKits is
donating 30 of each of these historic kits to be given away to
the first 60 people to register for this exciting event!
And there's more! FlisKits
will also donate range box stickers available to all attendees
as well as other gifts and prizes to be announced later on
this web site and at the convention itself.
CMASS,
with the help of FlisKits, has made arrangements with
Goddard museum curator Mott Lin to make the Goddard
exhibit available to all attendees with special tours and
more. To highlight the weekends activities, for those
who can stay after on Sunday, CMASS has arranged a
launch to take place on the VERY SPOT where
Robbert Goddard began humanities reach for space with the
launching of the first liquid fueled rocket in Auburn, MA 83
years ago!
